Module Frontend Editor Locks Up When Adding Text Block Addon

does anyone know what may be happening with adding a text block addon inside an sp page builder module?

we've turned on joomla debug, with maximum error reporting.. and turned the default editor to none..

making a site module using sp page builder module, adding an image is fine.. but the moment we add a text block.. the front end stops responding immediately..

we also inspecting the page , network tab.. and nothing comes up as error.. anybody know what else we can try?

we went through our backups of sp page builder versions.. something happened from version 5.1.6 and version 5.1.7

when we install v5.1.6 the text block addon works.. but when we install v5.1.7.. the text block addon locks up the page..

Thank you for reaching out to us. Could you please enable debug mode on the system -> global configuration-> system and set error reporting to the maximum level on the server? Once done, check for the error and provide screenshots if possible.

If the issue persists, kindly share your admin credentials in a secure format (e.g., hidden content). Before doing so, please ensure you take a backup of your site.

thank you! we're still having other issues - so.. thinking it may be some memory leak of some kind.. submitting login via hidden content. thank you for looking!

but.. as previously specified.. even after turning on debug and maximum level error reporting.. there is no notice of anything failing or being logged.. it just all of the sudden freezes when clicking into a text field addon to edit when on frontend editor.. completely locked up, cannot do anything.

web server logs don't seem to really say anything either.

Hello,

I checked your site and identified the issue. The Text Block addon is conflicting with the Engage Box plugin.

You can resolve this in one of the following ways:

  1. Disable the Engage Box plugin if you want to use the Text Block addon seamlessly.
  2. Alternatively, you can use the backend editor to work alongside Engage Box without any issues.
