We installed the quicklauncher with maestro and started to edit from Front End Editor, all was fine until we save some changes and get an error. That crashes all.
First all above footer was inaccesible, when we enter on administrator and SP Builder ->pages the home was without access, everytime that we try to save from backend editor we get an 406 or 409 error and then all is crazy:
If we try to go to Joomla administrator the favicon of the webpage start to tilt (blinking fast) and the webpage enters on a forever loop of load.
We must delete all history and cookies from browser and enter all again. If we modify another page on sp Builder works fine but if we edit, or enter to the homepage (or a copy of it) the site enters in this loop is like that page is corrupted. We cannot work with the website like that.

Hi Ivan,
Sorry for the trouble. The error "1615 Prepared statement needs to be re-prepared" in the homepage comes from the database server, usually because its table cache is too small. It can also break session saving, which causes the admin reload loop. The 406/409 errors on save usually mean the hosting firewall (ModSecurity) is blocking the request, and the homepage content may have been damaged by the failed save.
Quick fix to try: go to Global Configuration → Server → Database → Database Type and select MySQL (PDO), then save.
If the problem continues, please:
- Share your Joomla error log (
administrator/logs/) - Share admin login and FTP/cPanel access using the Hidden Content option, so we can check and fix it.
- Let us know if we have your permission to take a full site backup for testing, if needed
