Hi. Since updating to Joomla 5.3, Open Street Map no longer works. The map section remains white. Is there a solution? Thanks

Hi,

On few sites that I checked today and last days it still works. You forgot to share important informations about used Map extension, and full template name.

If we talk about SP Page Builder Pro 5.x - edit Open Street Maps addon , change style, Save changes and check again. Then repeat with different Style. Remember to clear Joomla cache.

Problem can be caused by Firewall settings, addon override by template or .htaccess rules - hard to guess, not seeing anything except words.

Thanks for the quick reply. The site is based on Dentro 2.0.1. Pagebuilder is version 5.5.4. PHP 8.4 Unfortunately, the suggested solution didn't work. Even a complete reinstallation of the module didn't work. The module runs fine on various other sites. Could it be something wrong with the template?

If we talk about template itself, as I know, it didn't override openstreets addon nor any other. So it shouldn't be template fault. But you can make a simple test, change Template to Casiopea (make it default for 3 minutes) and recheck that subpage. It will prove that (or not).

Check also what Inspector > Debugger will tell you (Firefox and Chrome has it)

Even a complete reinstallation of the module

What module you reinstalled?

The map isn't displayed in Casiopea either. This means we can rule out the template. I just recreated the OS module in the page builder. I misinterpreted that. The problem lies in the integration of "Convert Forms" by Tassos. If I disable it, OS works. I'm working on it, but it's off for now. Thank you for your help.

OK, please mark topic as solved.

JS conflicts between extensions are popular problem.

I've now installed a backup of Joomla 5.1.4.

Pagebuilder pro 5.4.1 Convert forms 4.4.6

Update to Joomla 5.3. Everything's fine.

I've installed all updates except for PB 5.5.4 and Convert forms 4.4.10. Everything's fine.

Update to Convert forms 4.4.10 Everything's fine.

Update to PB 5.5.4 Open Streetmap addon is dying. Maps are no longer available.

Make a simple test:

  1. Go to openstreetsmap website, find your location and generate (embed) html code, then use it inside raw html addon, and check what you will see. Map or not?
  2. On the same page where you have probably both map and Convert forms - disable CF and recheck.

Everything works great with older page builder versions. After updating to the latest version, an error occurred. Where would you look❓For now, I'm fine with a slightly older version of the PB. Perhaps the error will be fixed after the next update.
