For anyone else that needs the update on the Transparency issues with the Wimble Template Header.
The issue can be replicated, repeatidly. Simplified as;
Installing a completely new, non-upgrade quick start version of the Wimble Template there is an issue when you change the logo in the header. The header looses it's transparency and is replaced with a grey gradient fill.
Issue Replication
-
When you install a completely clean site, using the Wimble Quick Start, do not update the Joomla installation or the Extensions that show up until after this procedure.
-
Once the clean install of the Wimble Quick Start has been completed, perform the following;
- Logon to the Jomla Admin Console - System, Site Template Styles, Make the Wimble Transparent style the default.
- Enter the Wimble Transparent Style, Details Tab and Template Options, Basic and make updates to the logo, dark logo and mobile versions.
Once you do this, the header will lose it's transparency
To Resolve it
- Go to the Header Section and make sure Style 4 is the active Header.
- On the left navigation, go to the Presets, hover over the Preset 1 (should be a red-ish-pink-block) and click the small edit pencil that appears.
- Simply by doing this, the transparentcy may just simply begin working in the background, but you should still verify the Header Background Color is #rrggbb, click Apply and you're done.
