Problem With SEF-link When Closing Frontend Editor On Multilingual Pages

Hi there

With SP Page Builder v5.7.1 comes a big enhancement: Resolved SEF link issues when closing the frontend editor.

This works wonderfully, except on multilingual sites. There, the SEF link is changed as follows when the frontend editor is closed

Before: https://www.domain.com/fr/sef-url.html

After closing https://www.domain.com/fr/sef-url.html&lang=fr-FR

This change causes a 404 error every time. Can you please fix this? The problem is very annoying.

Thank you!

Best regards Matthias

Hello web2use,

Sorry for the inconvenience and the delayed response due to the weekend. I've checked and confirmed there is an issue where the page closing from the frontend editor causes problems when the page is assigned to a menu. I've informed the development team about this, and it will be addressed in a future update.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best regards

Hi,

See Credentials below in hidden content.

This is a brand new website that I am currently working on. I only set it up this morning. At the moment, there is a home page, a subpage, and a page in the first navigation level. The website is in German and French. The language selector is at the top right.

Don't be alarmed if something changes. I'm currently working on the template.

Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards, Matthias
