Helix Ultimate Menu Issue Disapearing Too Fast After Accidently Off Hovering

Hey,

I've been looking everywhere for months to find a way to make it more easy / user friendly menu so when you accidentaly remove your cursor off the menu when navigating in it, it doesn't just make the whole menu disapeared. This can be annoying when you got sub menu that appear another "menu" in the menu and sometimes you accidentaly hover off the menu and it's fully close everything so you then have to re go in the menu hoping to not miss hover again.

So I was wondering if there is a way to set some type of timers before the menu fade away/disapear as a protection for the miss hovering.

Thank you

Hi Jean,

From Template settings you can only disable Menu Animation effect, whole rest request JS customization.

In all my sites, I reduced paddings inside submenu windows, and it's easier to choose submenu items. By default there is 20px padding, use 10px or even 5px. Example:

.sp-megamenu-parent .sp-dropdown .sp-dropdown-inner {
  padding: 10px; }

And where exactly can I change that padding? Sorry for my ignorance, i'm relativly new to this.

I tried to add it in custom CSS but it didn't do anything

We have Helix documenation. I know, only in English > https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/helix-framework/custom-code-css-js-meta#documentation-heading-3

It should. Share URL after you will add it.

None of this solve my issue though. I want to set some type of timer before the menu goes away when you accidentaly hover off the menu, is there no easy way at all to do that?

Is that a feature you guys could add in the future since i'm sure i'm not the only one with that problem.

As I said before, without code customization it will be hard. For typical user, it's just a 3sec more to back where he/she was before.

We can consider that in the future, I mean, more settings.

I don't mind code customization, if you know any that could fix that?

Also if you like you could connect to my teamviewer to fix the issue ?

(TeamViewer is the only way for you to access my website since it's a Intranet, so only computer on the same network can connect to the website)

I would give you my informations to connect to my teamviewer incase.

This is not an issue, it's a default template behavior. Sorry, but we don't help with php/js customizations. Support Policy.
