Hi.

I downloaded the Arino Template. What is the difference between Category and Collection on the EasyStore?

When I try to add a collection, I get an error: Sorry, there was a problem we could not recover from. The server returned a "500 - Whoops, looks like something went wrong."

I want to display all the differerent Main Categories on a page, how do I do that?

Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. Please update your EasyStore application and see if that resolves the error.

Regarding the difference between Categories and Collections:

  • Category: Organizes products in a hierarchical structure (e.g., Electronics > Phones). Each product typically belongs to only one category. Categories are ideal for site navigation.
  • Collection: Groups products from any category into themed sets (e.g., Summer Sale, Bestsellers). A product can belong to multiple collections. Collections are best for promotions or campaigns.
