Helix Ultimate System Plugin 2.1.3

Hello ,

I'm not sure if this a template or a framework issue. I am unable to install or update the Helix Ultimate system plugin v2.1.3. I have tried updating and manually installing the plugin through the upload package file option. The error I get is Error installing plugin

I have tried this with Joomla 5.3.2 and Joomla5.3.3 sites. I also get a Copy file failed warning in Joomla 5.3.3 site.

Thanks for any help with this. I did see that the XML file has a version=3.9 line which seems strange.

Hi Chris,

Reasons:

  1. Bad day / No luck
  2. Folder permission problem
  3. Corrupted .zip file (download again, and try install it)

Why (1) - becuase so far you're first person who cannot do that.

Check if you can install any other extension from JED. Anything, for example, a free plugin. If you won't be able too - answer you will find on forum.joomla.org.

And yes, you can update Helix Ultimate plugin manually in less than 3minutes:

  1. Download Helix Ultimate quickstart
  2. Unzip it
  3. Use FTP tool and override all files in that folder: plugins\system\helixultimate using folder from QS

If you want to update also template, you need to override this folder & file:

* templates\shaper_helixultimate
* language\en-GB\en-GB.tpl_shaper_helixultimate.ini

Then just update database status. So simple ;]

The same files/folders are also inside template package.
