Hello JoomShaper Team,

We are currently using the Artolio template and wish to customize certain SVG elements (shapes, icons, built-in graphic decorations).

Could you please advise on the best approach to modify these SVGs in a clean and sustainable way, without risking the template’s stability in future updates?

Ideally, we would appreciate a detailed tutorial, covering:

step-by-step guidance,

which files to touch,

recommended best practices.

Additionally, could you recommend a suitable application or tool to create or edit SVG images that work well with Artolio?

Thank you very much for your help and support.

Best regards,

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight. Best practise is to keep backup of your images directory of your template befor update the template.

Hi Toufiq,

For example, here https://demo2.joomshaper.com/2025/artolio/index.php/about-us , to change the SVG Shape Overlay of the parallax under the text : "We’re a small team of designers and strategists turning ideas into impactful, scalable digital experiences through thoughtful design."

Thanks.

I’ve found both the SVG and the CSS in SP Page Builder. The easiest way now is to modify the SVG with my own shape, right? Can I easily rename the SVG file?

If you modify the svg file name then you need to update the css code. Cause, File name is included into css file.
