Database Errors On Akeeba Import On Hosting

Hi, since I was having some issues in the localhost, I decided to go live and see if that fixed the problems. I used akeeba to make a full bkp and installed everything on the hosting provider using akeeba kickstarter. The DB migration however threw up a bunch of errors, all on SPPB tables. here are the screenshot of the errors.

I had to force akeeba not to stop for errors in order to complete the process, but now SPPB is not working on the backend, and the DB is missing a bunch of tables

after much cussing and cursing I figured out the issue... the localhost was using a more recent version of sql from what was enabled on the server... I switched that to 8.0 and the import of the DB went smoothly!

Thanks for looking into this.

Ciao.

As you know we are not Akeeba Support. So I can suggest you using PHPMyAdmin and manually export-import all tables from LocalHost or only those who keep SPPB. List: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/database-tables-used-by-sppb

Remember to use empty database on hosting if you decided to import all tables.

Bonus tip! Create a new empty database and try Akeeba installer again.

If you had old database with old tables - it may cause problems! One site one database!

the error seems to be in the tables. i started from an empty Db, and already tried to manually import the sppb tables manually from the localhost to the hosting, myphpadmin throws the same errors

my hosting provodes 5 databases on my hosting plan, so i started in a clean db

Ask Hosting support about advice, maybe there is limit of DB table size etc. It looks that you have Basic account.

In theory, I could recover your site on my hosting, but probably it will not help you. But I can try...

BTW

  1. What Joomla version?
  2. What Database version do you have on hosting?
  3. Akeeba Backup the last version was used?

Try also those tips/steps:

  1. On imported site reinstall SP Page Builder Pro (just install it). Then check if that helped to fix database, if not follow step 2.
  2. Please make a new backup on localhost but this time backup only database (Akeeba Backup allows that) upload database file on your server (root folder), and ask hosting support to import whole database as it's.
