License Keys And Updates BROKEN

SC

General 1 week ago

I have a valid license for SP Page Builder, EasyStore, Templates and others and I have that license key entered into my Joomla site; yet today the site is asking me for a valid key (exactly as is happening to another customer in another thread).

I've re-entered my VALID license key, but to no avail - Joomla still says it is invalid!

I also can't update any JoomShaper component - I get 14 variations of "Update: Could not open update site #541 "EasyStore", URL: ****" when I go to the update page in Joomla.

Is this a symptom of Joomshaper breaking something in their backend, or is it a sign they're no longer supporting their products???

and how are we, the poor customers, meant to fix this???

Hi Stuart,

Thanks for reaching out.

Before we look at other possibilities, let’s try the simplest troubleshooting steps first, as sometimes browser or site caching can cause license verification issues:

  1. Clear your browser cache – old cached data can sometimes interfere with license verification.
  2. Clear your Joomla site cache – go to System → Clear Cache in Joomla and remove all cached items.
  3. Try in a private/incognito window.

If you still see the license errors after these steps, we can then explore whether it’s a backend issue with JoomShaper or something else preventing license validation.

Best regards,

It's an issue contacting the Joomshaper website! Not something on my website (which hasn't changed)

Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

Once I have access, I’ll investigate further and see what’s causing the issue. Let me know once you’ve shared the details!

Best regards,

No, you do NOT need admin access to my website!

We've just had it confirmed that this was caused by the issues to the JoomShaper website which happened yesterday. You need to ensure all JoomShaper employees know what is happening

I apologize for this experience. The issue has been resolved. Please clear your browser and Joomla cache, then check your site again.

Thank you for your patience.
