SP Simple Portfolio Heading Spacing

SP Page Builder 1 month ago

On my clients site - https://www.hellolincoln.co.uk/index.php

You gave me lots of help to personalise SP Simple Portfilio to their colours etc around a year ago.

They would like us to add a little vertical spacing (leading) on the headings. On the link above if you see any items with a title that is 2 or 3 lines long it looks quite close, there is almost no space between lines of heading text.

thanks

Dan

You can use this CSS in your custom.css file

.sp-simpleportfolio .sp-simpleportfolio-item .sp-simpleportfolio-info h3>a {
    line-height: 22px !important;
}

this IS the page -all of this page is built in SP Simple Portfolio apart from the adverts

I have put this same link in 3 times now - this IS the page- if you look you can see the blue areas under the images and anything with a 2 line title is too close together

We have come across a problem with the code supplied:

.sp-simpleportfolio .sp-simpleportfolio-item .sp-simpleportfolio-info h3>a { line-height: 22px !important; }

the 3 bars for the off canvas mobile menu do not display on the right when this code is added to the Custom CSS for the website - they appear on the left but are not there when set to right

please see scren shot here - https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/41bnrltydzq2q9tt6zptg/off-canvas-menu-missing.png?rlkey=3vyn3g2r3e39f5zyhvlmtb2sr&dl=0

thanks

Hi

This code should not affect the offcanvas, because these two are different CSS classes. Don't worry, please keep a full site backup and give me your super admin access, so that I can check.

It is definitely causing an issue as it stops as soon as I remove it. But we can leave the Off canvas menu to the left as a temporary fix until we solve it.

I have taken a full backup and downloaded it just in case we need it.

Link and log in info is below:

Hi

The offcanvas issue should be a separate issue. That CSS should not affect your offcanvas. You can create a new forum post about your offcanvas issue.

3 days ago you asked for an admin log in to check this issue - and now you are saying it is not related

Yet clearly I have stated that when I remove your code the issue disappears and when i put it in the off cancas menu disappeared when set to right.

I am not going to start a new ticket for something I have explained clearly and that only occurs when using the code in this ticket. Also I thought you were looking into it during the last 3 days - It is disappointing to get a reply with no research after this time - just being told to start a new thread.

I preciously accepted the answer with the code and said it worked perfectly. Then we noticed the off cancas menu was hidden so we are not able to accept the previous answer as satisfactory until this is resolved.

In my previous responses I stated that the menu disappears when set to the right (where my client wants it) and the only fix with the code in use is to place it on the left.

place it on the right with out the code, and it will appear - when you add the code it disappears.

This is why it is related to the code

Hi,

We are experiencing some issues with offcanvas positions in the latest Helix. I will investigate and get back to you soon. I need to forward this to our Dev team. Please allow me some time.
