Template Update Introduced Changes

Template 2 weeks ago

Hi, i did a template update earlier today (Nectar). As a result some of the site background colours have changed...notably on the Shop and Blog pages...plus the login button has reappeared on the top menu. I tried restoring the site through Akeeba, (from the back up taken immediately before the update) but this has not changed anything? Could someone please advise.

Sure Steve!

I have added the following code snippet in your custom.css file:

.view-products #sp-main-body, .view-product #sp-main-body, .view-category #sp-position-1, .view-category #sp-main-body {
    background-color: #ffc629 !important;
}

Hi there!

Sorry for your experience.

Would you please guide me by specifying which colors have changed actually? You said background color, so background color of the header, or the body or anything else? Screenshots with indication would be better to have. Moreover, did you hide the sign in button with css or just disabled the module from the list?

Best regards,

Hi Rashida, and many thanks for your reply. Please find image at the link in the hidden content, inticating the body background colour I want to change. When i updated the template, it reset it back to this green on my 'Shop' and 'Blog' pages. I calso can't find anywhere in the template settings to hide the login button? Any help/advice woyuld be appreciated. With kind regards, Steve.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the screenshot. May I have your admin access in the hidden content box to check the issue for you? Please mention which color your chosed and was that changed with custom CSS, Or from template preset values before?

Moreover, you should be able to remove the sign in/login button from the Header section in basic tab of your template options. Here is a sample screenshot for you: https://share.cleanshot.com/Qr33dqQj

Note: It is recommended to keep a full site backup before sharing the credentials.

Best regards,

Rashida, many thanks for your message and iromation. I have now hifdden the 'Log in' button. I should have known this as i've done it before...Iwasn't quite with it yesterday!

The background colour on the Shop and Blog pages should be #ffc629

Please find my log in credentials in the hidden content...and again, many thanks for your help.

With kind regards, Steve.
