System : Templates Edit Style : Template Options

With the recent updates, any attempt to make changes to template styles, I now get an undefined error popup notification and changes are not saved. This happens leaving the "drafting" icon (top right) spinning, and/or when I try to Save changes.

Current versions:

Helix Ultimate 2.2.8 SP Page Builder 6.6.2 Joomla 6.1.2 PHP 8.4.23 MySQL 10.11.17-MariaDB

As a test, I did a fresh install of a quickstart template (Rythm), updated to current version of Joomla 6, SP Page Builder, and Helix Ultimate Framework, and I get the same undefined error.

Hi,

I can see the issue. It appears that your hosting provider, .htaccess rules, or a Web Application Firewall (WAF) is blocking the save request.

Please check your hosting security settings, .htaccess rules, or contact your hosting provider to verify whether any security rules are preventing the request from being processed.

Once this has been checked, please let us know, and we'll be happy to assist you further.

Thank you!

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

Once I have access, I’ll investigate further and see what’s causing the issue. Let me know once you’ve shared the details!

Best regards,

I've cloned the site and database, moved it to a sandbox so you can get and do whatever you need with no concern for affecting the live site.

Credentials are below.

Also, since I can't provide root access to my server so you can manipulate the database or files, I'm happy to provide a dump of the database and zip file of the site if you need that.

Thank you. I appreciate you assistance and attention to this matter.

I actually just did a work around using custom.css.

The error still happens under Layout Builder.

  • Go to Template Styles for Rythm.
  • Template Options
  • Layout Builder
  • Row Options for top section (Title)
  • Style
  • Try to add a Background Image, then hit Apply or Save
  • ERROR undefined

You can choose an image: images/backgrounds/footer-bg.jpg

I'm forced to totally rebuild my website, using the quickstart because after the malicious malware attack, my live site now has duplicate entries throughout the tables in the database. Because of this, there are no longer unique IDs within tables; there are duplicate IDs, so phpMyAdmin can't easily remove the duplicates.
