Change Of Author

SP Page Builder 2 weeks ago

I am using the latest version of PageBuilder. Is it really not possible to change the author of a PageBuilder page (not a post via post integration) except via the database? I have several users and currently always have to switch to the relevant user to create a page, as the different users should only be allowed to edit their own content.

I saw this field But:

On my orienteering page, which I created with the Joomla user “Orienteriungslauf,” I set the author to ‘Angeln’ as a test. In the overview (and I think this is important for assigning rights in Joomla), the user is still listed as “Orientierungslauf.”

About your question. To be honest, you are the first person who asked for that.

I think you need solution like it's inside the Article edition? Sort of Author Alias (Created by Alias) ?

I must have a real reason (need) to justify adding a new feature.

BTW

there is also Joomla extension Login as User. Maybe it will be faster? For sure, if you create page(s) front front-end editor.

Basically, yes. I have several users (one for each sports department) and, of course, users should only be able to change their own sports department subpage.

Where can i Find this? <meta property="article:author" content="NEW-AUTHOR"/>

  1. Look up, read my "BTW" section.
  2. In Source code of each page. By default user name is used, but Page editor can change that name (my 1st screenshot)
