Off-canvas Menu Broken

PL

Hi

After updating Helix Ultimate, my off-canvas menu no longer works.

I reinstalled the plugin and template and cleared the cache.

However, I was unsuccessful.

Do you have a solution for this problem?

Many thanks.

But sure, I will check your site. If you used different kind of menu, for example, based on Addon.

Thank you very much, Paul.

We adjusted the menu in custom.css. That worked fine for a long time.

Can you disable file caching for that test site? Working with a delay is irritating.

Please excuse me, Paul, I don't know how to do that. Do I need to change something in Plesk?

Yesterday evening, I renamed custom.css.css to custom.css. The menu is displayed again, but it is still broken.

Hi Paul,

Have you found out anything else or do you have any ideas?

Hi Patrick Ladner,

Sorry for the delayed response.

You placed the custom "offcanvas-toggler-button" class inside the "offcanvas-modules" section, and that module is located within an inert area—that’s why the button was inactive.

Now that you’ve disabled “inert” in the code, it’s working. However, this change might get overwritten by a template override later.

It’s better to move the module position and adjust the setup properly instead of relying on disabling “inert.”

Please check the hidden content box for screenshots!

Best regards,
