Pagination Problem With Article Addon

Hello,

I have a category of articles I am displaying with a category blog using the Article Addon in the PageBuilder. The problem comes in that for this category I am using custom fields which display correctly but since there is no article content being displayed other than Article Title and custom feilds the pagination is not working. I assume this is because there is "no content" since I am displaying only the custom feilds in addition to the article title.

I have pagination enabled for the addon, but it's not working.

Could you please take a look at the Addon code and see if you can resolve the problem as the page is displaying 99 articles without showing the "Load More".

Thank you, Mike

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I tried to recreate the issue you mentioned, but on my end there are no problems with the Article Addon displaying only custom fields and titles — pagination works as expected.

You may share an Akeeba backup file with us so we can further investigate the issue.

Thanks,

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the details!

Could you please share a screenshot of the page and the URL where the issue is occurring? That will help us better understand the setup and check what might be preventing pagination from working.

Best regards,

Wish I could do that, it's an internal site and my client will not make is avaiable on the internet. I spun up a test site to try and give you something to look at but that feature is not avaiable in the Free version of PB so I can't even recreate the problem on that test site for you. If you could replicate the problem, just create a couple custom feilds and then create a handful of articles with only titles and custom feild and then in the SP Pagebuilder page set show custom feilds to yes for in the Articles addon and select the category you created those articles under you should be able to see it.

I understand this is a lot of work and if you can't my client will just have to live with it since he does not want the accessable from the internet.

Thank you, I will look into this further as I can't share the site or the data since it is internal staff data.

I am going to accept this as answered.

Thank you again, Mike
