Filters In Articles Dynamic Collection

Hi,
Maybe I am missing something, but when I try to create a filter in an Articles Dynamic Collection (from different categories) following these instructions (https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/collection-filter), I get stuck at the step where you choose the field to filter by. It is greyed out and I cannot select anything.
How can I create a filter to select by Joomla category, author, date, or even a custom field?

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Currently, this filtering works only with manually created dynamic collections or our ready-made collection presets and is not supported for standard Joomla Articles collections. You may use the reverse mode; however, filtering by Joomla core article fields such as date, author, etc., is not fully supported.
I have added this as a feature request.
