Hi, I also searched the documentation, but I couldn't find an answer. What sort order does the articles collection (which also allows you to select a category of native Joomla articles) follow?
I'm looking for a way to sort articles by date, but there's no way to do it.

Accepted AnswerThank you, I read those two pages, and I fully understood how to create the index page and use the addon filter.
Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to my question: if I can't sort the displayed articles by date, what logic does the collection follow today? What is the display order? Does it use the ID? Does it use the manual Joomla category order? Alphabetical? Since I don't have a filter to tell it how to do it, the only option I can find is "reverse," but it simply reverses the display order, but I don't understand which order it follows.
The Dynamic Filter addon doesn't solve my problem. It allows me to filter by date range, but if I publish a list of news items, and they aren't displayed by date, it's a problem.

Accepted AnswerCurrently, this filtering works only with manually created dynamic collections or our ready-made collection presets and is not supported for standard Joomla Articles collections. You may use the reverse mode; however, filtering by Joomla core article fields such as date, author, etc., is not fully supported.
I have added this as a feature request.
