Issues With Safari When Using Interactions

Hi,

I have a number of elements on this page that use interactions: https://mavendesignstudio-demo.com/moa/

When viewed in Chrome, Brave, Firefox, and Opera they behave as expected. But, in Safari, they interactions jump around and don't move smoothly.

Please see this demonstration: https://www.loom.com/share/eea396e221294f4b97075c58cf45ae92

Please advise.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

From my end, Safari behaves similarly to Chrome and Firefox. I believe you may need to upgrade your Safari version to resolve the issue.

Please check this file: https://limewire.com/d/QUl6L#BRQ6ZNCYVX

Hello Ziaul, Joomshaper team,

we’d appreciate it if user concerns were taken more seriously.”

I already confirmed the interaction issue in another thread

The Problem started with iOS 26 on iPhone, iPad and macOS. Impacted on iphone, ipad are all browser, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Edge. On MacOS only Safari is impacted, all other browsers are running fine as well.

The problem is clearly linked to PageBuilder with Safari version 26! Rashida confirmed from your team, she is testing with Safari Version 18.6. This version worked very well. You won't be able to reproduece the problem. Please use a macOS ,iOS version 26 device with Safari for testing! Many thanks

Stefan

Hello Stefan,

Thank you for your detailed feedback and for sharing your findings.

You are correct — after further review, the issue appears to be related to changes introduced in newer Safari/WebKit versions, which affect how scroll-based interactions are handled. This explains why the behavior differs between Safari and other browsers, and why older Safari versions worked as expected.

We appreciate you confirming this across multiple devices and operating systems. I will forward this information to the development team so they can test specifically on the affected Safari versions and investigate a proper fix or workaround.

Thank you for your patience and for bringing this to our attention.

Best regards,

Hello Ziaul,

I’m not sure what you need exactly. I assume the JoomShaper developers can reproduce the issue on any page they build and use it as an example. I’ve shared the URL in case you’d like to review the behavior on a live page for reference.

Let me know if you need something else.

Brgds Stefan

Hello,

This is a Safari browser–related issue, and we are actively testing and working on a fix. We will try to include this improvement in the next upcoming update, possibly within this month.

In the meantime, we would appreciate it if you could export the affected page with media files included and share the exported zip files with us. This will help us investigate the issue more effectively and resolve it as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Hello Ziaul,

thanks for sharing the file. I check on my webpage, but couldn't find this file in the shared path. Nevertheless, I copied it but it didn't improve the interaction for me.

Lets wait for Karen to share her findings.

Thanks Stefan

Hi Ziaul,

I apologize for my delay in reply. I was out of the office for a few days. Thank you Stefan for giving it a try.

I do see that there isn't a file in a live site called es5_interaction.js to replace. I can easily change the file name if it's meant to replace an existing file. Otherwise, I will wait for the next replacement to try it out.
