Error In SP Easy Image Gallery

Hi, I see that you already have done some work on solving an issue on SP Easy Image Gallery, when opening the "Albums" this error occurs:
Call to undefined method Joomla\Filesystem\File::getExt()
Is this solved somehow in a newer version or could you assist in solving the issue somehow?
