Odd Behavior In SPPB For Joomla 6

Hello, I've been building a site on my local server and I've run into a few odd issues.

When building a section where I am adding a Headline element, if I have just the '0' (zero) for the headline content, it shows perfectly in the Frontend Editor, but when I preview the page, the H2 element disappears. If I change the content to 'NO' or 'ZERO' then it shows up. Why would having text value of '0' cause that element to not render?

Another thing I noticed - if I have the headline with a gradient color and a text shadow, the text shadow is moving to the top, like the z-index is changing. If I have the font with a solid color, the shadow appears where it should, behind the text.

Thanks Robb

Hello Robb,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I can see that the issue regarding text is set to 0. Since this is treated as a logical false, it may be ignored during rendering. We will apply a fix for this.

Instead of Heading addon you can use Text Block Addon, here you write any text including 0.

Additionally, please review the attached screenshot regarding the text shadow and gradient. From my side, they appear to be working as expected.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Hello, Thank you for looking to fix the '0' value and also for the potential workaround.

Regarding the shadow issue, if I zoom in on the items you sent, I can see that the shadow is indeed on top, but it's difficult to notice because the font is not bold. Here is a screenshot showing what I see with a bold font and a lighter color.

Thanks Robb

Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

Or from backend editor export this page and share the json file with me.

Once I have access, I’ll investigate further and see what’s causing the issue. Let me know once you’ve shared the details!

Best regards,
