Hello Laurent,

Thank you for reaching out to our technical support forum. I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing.

You have path to files folder to Files. This is why images uploaded from SP Page Builder media manager are storing under files. Please keep it images.

Best regards

I understand your settings. By default, Joomla also follows this way. Just set both the value to images.

I know but this is not an answer/solution. You do not follow joomla's settings, why? does not make sense.

Hi,

I'm having trouble with the same problem. SP Page Builder should follow Joomla's default settings and upload images to the images folder and not to the files folder. Images path is for images. Files path is for documents like PDF.

As a workaround, I've now reset Joomla's 'Media' > 'Options' > 'Path to Files Folder' to 'images', but that's not a permanent solution.

Best regards, Jeroen

exactly !

@joomshaper team => I do not understand why you cannot just follow joomla's settings, and why you do systematiccaly choices radically different. this does not make any sense.

I have the same problem.

Access to the Joomla directories worked in Joomla 4 and 5 (SPPB 6.1.2).

I'm currently importing all the pages into a new Joomla 6 (SPPB 6.2) installation and now have to manually correct the paths whenever changes are made, as I can't access the Joomla directories.

Apology for the inconvenience. I have talked to the developer team and demonstrated the issue. If you set Path to Files as Files in Media configuration, then images and folders are not accessible on SP Page Builder media manager. The team has recognized the issue and will work on it. It will be fixed in the future version. Meanwhile, please keep Path to Files set as Images.
