Not Able To Add Any Type Of Link In EasyStore Product Description

Hi, I need to add a pdf download link to the product description. This is a datasheet for the product. However, I see that it is not possible to add a pdf download link or any link for that matter. I have even tried installing short code plugins, but that doesn't work either.

How to solve this?

Hi, thanks for reaching out.

At the moment, EasyStore does not support adding clickable links (including PDF download links) directly inside the product description. The description field is intentionally limited and does not fully process HTML, shortcodes, or third-party shortcode plugins, which is why those attempts didn’t work. I will add it to our feature request list so it can be reviewed by our development team.

Oh dear, that's dissapointing. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future release soon as this is quite an important feature.
