Issue With System Editor – 500 Behavior: Modal Not Found

SP Page Builder 2 weeks ago

Hello,

When I try to make quick updates from the frontend, I am unable to modify the text using the System Editor (screenshots): a 500 error page appears each time I attempt to do so.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Best regards, Michel

You are welcome 😊

Please go to this location:

templates/shaper_travelia/html/layouts/joomla/editors/

and replace buttons.php file with the attached file. You need to unzip the file and then replace.

buttons.php.zip

It will only work if you have Travelia Template on the other site. If you have other templates, then share here. I will fix that too. This fix will stay if you update SP Page Builder or the template. So, you do not have to do anything more.

I have edited this file to fix the issue:

templates/shaper_travelia/html/layouts/joomla/editors/buttons.php

The issue will not happen now.

Since your intervention, I am no longer able to edit the page in question. A Checked out button appears instead of the Edit button, not only on this page but also on the homepage.

It seems that the issue affects pages created exclusively with SP Page Builder.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Please go to System -> Global Check-in and mark all as checked-in. Then you will be able to edit the page.

Thanks, it’s working now!

I have other sites that might encounter the same issue… could you send me the file that needs to be fixed, or will the SPPB update resolve this error?

I have a humble request. It would be very kind of you if you can manage some moment to give us feedback on

  1. Joomla Extension Directory
  2. TrustPilot

This will inspire us to improve.
