Password For A Page (Article)

Extension 1 week ago

Hello,

I know that setting passwords for a page is not as easy with Joomla as it is with WordPress.

So my question is: is there a Joomshaper extension that allows password-protected articles that I have simply overlooked so far?

Regards

Hi,

If we talk about Pages (SPPB), I don't know any extension yet.

For Joomla core articles there are a few. For example, Membership Pro or Article Password or JLex Block. Just make research on JED.

For Joomla 3 where more extenions for that, for J5/6 very limited range.

If they have it in a pizza price, not a big deal. Take it :)

I can recommend the extension »Easy Content Restriction«

--> https://kubik-rubik.de/de/ecr-easy-content-restriction

I like his extensions, but I am not sure if that one work inside SPPB as Freiherr asked. It looks like only for core Articles, and cost much more.

It works perfectly to protect pages built with SP Pagebuilder with a password.. i use ECR for this case by myself. So it's working with core pages, pagebuilder pages, even forms created with Convert Forms etc.. you can protect all of it. Of course you have to do the settings for the protection you want inside the ECR-Plugin itself, but that's kinda easy.

Hi there,

the reason I asked here was this extension. Looks like a Third-Party-Add-On for 13$ https://joomhelper.com/password-for-sppb
