Backend Changes Not Refreshing Or Shoing In Frontend

Hi Guys,

I just have an issue on 1 page, where my backend changes in some section are not updating / showing in the frontend... where some other changes do?

I have done 2x screenshots to show this, one what the editor is showing and the second in what the frontend is doing.

I have tried clearing the CACHE several times, but this has not fixed this... and this is the only PAGE I have an issue with as all the other pages edit perfectly. I can provided login details if required. I'm using 6.2.3

You can see the white background is in the editor but not inthe frontend, and you can also see lower down there is a different background image, which is also not updating.

No... I do not have ModSecurity or any other WAF (Web Application Firewall) enabled. Only now did I just add Admintools, but that was today... prior was when I was having the issue.

Yes, it still randomly does not remove cache... but it might be something on my end.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

OK, I have made a back up.

Thank you for you help. The page that has the issue... is called 'PETS' in the SPPB.

I have added a bg color on a section here: https://prnt.sc/Gy540wzzJusT now I see this on frontend https://prnt.sc/AJVQ11ypCA38, there is no issues on my end.

Please, try from different browser, when change anything ensure you click save button.

Hi Ziaul,

Thank you and I can see the screen shots with the edit working... BUT ...Here's the wierd thing,

I use Firefox, and prior to making this thread I did try it on Chrome, and the same thing occurs, after opening the PAGE once, it stays unchanged on the Frontend in that browser.

I did try it on Edge this morning... and after the first change that browser stayed locked and also doesn't update and new changes.

It did the same with Safari, and also now testing on my iPhone, the changes are not refreshing... I have also cleared the SERVER cache as well.

So I am confused?

Did you try to change it multiple times.. as a test.. to see if it changed everytime you made a change... becuase it works the first time you do it... but it's when you make continuous changes that it stays the same ?

Please try temporarily disabling caching for your entire site, then check the site in an incognito/private browser window.

After that, let me know what happens, as this is how it should normally work. Also, check if you have ModSecurity or any other WAF (Web Application Firewall) enabled, and try temporarily disabling them as well.
