Issue With Investa 1.0.4 Search Module On Joomla 6.1.0

Dear JoomShaper Support Team,

I would like to report an issue we encountered with the Investa theme.

We installed Investa 1.0.4 on Joomla 6.1.0. On any page where the Search module is displayed, the page shows the following error message:

Failed opening required '\mod_search\default.php' (include_path='.;C:\php\pear')

https://meee.com.tw/FSDwf5U

However, when we switch to Joomla’s default Cassiopeia template, the same page displays normally without any issue.

Based on our testing, the problem seems to occur specifically when using the Investa theme together with the Search module.

Could you please help us confirm:

Whether Investa 1.0.4 is fully compatible with Joomla 6.1.0 Whether this is a known issue related to the Search module Whether there is any patch, workaround, or updated version available to resolve this problem

For your reference, the error appears only on pages that include the Search module.

Please let us know if you need any additional information, such as screenshots, system details, or temporary access for further investigation.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards, Odin

Hi,

Thanks for the update.

I checked the issue, and it was caused by the override file located at:

/templates/investa/html/mod_search/default.php

This override was loading incorrectly, which is why the search module was failing.

I’ve renamed/disabled that file, and now Joomla is using the default layout — the issue should be resolved.

Please check from your end and confirm everything is working correctly now.

If you still need the override, You need to recreate it properly without causing the error.

Thanks

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

also mention one of the page name where you used this module.

Once I have access, I’ll investigate further and see what’s causing the issue. Let me know once you’ve shared the details!

Best regards,

Dear JoomShaper Support Team,

Thank you for your reply.

I have prepared two sample pages and an account for your investigation.

https://demo.prestigetech.org/DJAds/about.html This page uses the Search module with the Investa template, and the Search module cannot be displayed correctly.

https://demo.prestigetech.org/DJAds/pricing.html This page uses the Search module with Cassiopeia. The Search module can be displayed correctly, but an error message appears when it is used.

Please help investigate and resolve this issue.

I will provide the temporary administrator account details in the hidden content section as requested.

Best regards, Odin
