SP Page Builder 6 Front End Editor The Requested Page Cannot Be Found

Hello, I hope someone can help. Fresh install of Joomla 6.1.0. PHP has been upgraded to 8.3. Fresh install of SP Page Builder 6.6.0. Licence key entered. I've installed the site into a newsite.(my domain) folder at the same level as public_html - for building and testing. This domain has been added to the site domains inside CPanel. Joomla seems to be working fine. PageBuilder gave me access to the pages front end editor after requiring me to log in to the front end as well. I created my first page using the front end editor. No problem. I wanted to add the site menu just below the top image so I added a joomla module and assigned it there. Navigating to the main menu I assigned this SP PageBuilder page as the home page. The main menu shows up in the front end and clicking on 'home' works fine. I can access this page either via newsite.(domain) or newsite.(domain)/index.php. I started creating a second page which I also assigned to the menu and this shows up too when the menu link in the front end is clicked. So far, so good. The problem comes when I try to access the front end editor. Whether I try to do so via the 'edit page' link on the front end or through PageBuilder's pages list, I just get 'The requested page cannot be found'. 404. I reenabled the front end login module (which I had disabled) in case I had been logged out ofthe front end. I hadn't been. I renamed htaccess.txt to .htaccess Neither of these actions have helped. Clicking on the front end 'edit page' button adds a /edit/1 to the home page index.php URL, but I just get a 404. I'm perplexed. Shouldn't this just work? What have a done wrong? Thanks, David

P.S. I noticed a few typos in my post, so I clicked on the edit button, made the changes and then clicked Update Question. My text reverted back to how it was before. I tried again. Same result. Your edit question option doesn't work...

Okay, for now I've reverted PHP back to 7.4 so that I still have a functioning website. If anyone has any suggestions why the front end editor of PageBuilder Pro is throwing 404 errors, it would be great to hear them. Thanks!
