Hi I get this error when trying to update. It also occurs when trying to install the new component over the old one.
Please could you help?
JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL Can't create table xxxxxx_sm8xxqe.a98kn_sppagebuilder_versions (errno: 150 "Foreign key constraint is incorrectly formed")
Extension installation stopped.
Hi there!
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Could you please take a full backup of your website first, then uninstall all existing instances of SP Page Builder from your site and reinstall a fresh downloaded package through the Joomla extension installation page?
This should help in cases where some SP Page Builder files or database tables are missing and allow a clean installation.
If the issue still persists after reinstalling, please let us know. As a workaround, creating a basic "dummy" version of the missing database table manually can also allow the installer to recognize that the table exists and continue the installation process.
Please make sure to take a complete backup before making any database changes.
Best regards,
Hi Rashida, thx for your answer. I uninstalled it but there is still the same message.
Could you helpme further? (For now I put back version 6.6.0, because the site cannot be down any longer.)
grtz Hedy
Hi Hedy,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m sorry for the experience you’ve had so far.
To look into this issue more closely, could you please share temporary Super Admin access (inside the hidden content box)? I’ll check this and update you as soon as possible.
Please make sure to keep a full site backup before sharing the credentials, just to be safe.
Best regards,
Hi Rahsida, ok I'll send it in a sec.
Greetings, Hedy
