The Quickstart package is a complete demo website that allows you to replicate the demo site on your server. It includes:

• The complete Joomla CMS
• The selected template
• All required components, modules, and plugins
• The Helix Ultimate framework plugin with all configurations
• Demo content used on the showcase website

In other words, the Quickstart package contains everything required to recreate the demo site, so you do not need to install any additional extensions separately.

Please note that, in some Quickstart packages, you may find placeholder or alternative demo images instead of the exact images displayed on our showcase website. This is due to copyright and licensing restrictions on certain third-party images. However, the layout, functionality, and overall design remain the same.

Hello Atick, thank you for your reply I think there is a missunderstanding by myself.

I want to install the Template Selixo and have therefore downloaded selixo_quickstart_J6. Isn´t it enough to upload this extractet folder-content to my server? Your description only shows how to manage the helix framework installation. Please let me know what do I have to do in my case?

I believe the confusion comes from the installation method.

Our templates are built on the Helix Ultimate framework, which is why we generally refer to the Helix Ultimate Quickstart installation documentation. The installation process is the same for all of our Quickstart packages, including Selixo.

Please note that the Quickstart package cannot be installed into an existing Joomla website. It is a complete Joomla installation package and must be installed the same way you would install a brand-new Joomla site. In other words, you should not extract the files into an existing Joomla installation.

If your goal is to create a new website identical to the Selixo demo, you should:

• Upload the contents of the extracted Quickstart package to your server.
• Create a new database.
• Open your domain in a browser and follow the Joomla installation wizard to complete the installation.

On the other hand, if you want to use the template on an existing Joomla website, you should install the template package instead of the Quickstart package through System → Install → Extensions. Please note that the template package does not include the demo content shown in the showcase. You will need to create the pages and configure the content manually.
