JCE Editor

The JCE editor panel is no longer coming up in page builder (3.8.9) in the content area of the text block. This makes Page Builder nearly useless. How can I fix it? Joomla 5.4.1

Accepted Answerthank you for your response. there is nothing i can do to get it to work. i have converted the site to Astro + PatloadCMS. It's going live on August 1.

Accepted Answer(As I posted above, but as an admin you might want to be aware of this.)
If you look at editor profiles, you will see someone has injected a new profile (I found this on two sites, with a name like J09532). Delete that user and the toolbar will reappear. Update to JCE latest is mandatory at this point.

The SP page builder (3.8.9) is no longer supported. Kindly update to the latest version and check your issue.

Accepted AnswerUsing Joomla 5.4.1 is also bad idea from security point of view, don't you know there is J5.4.7 ??

Accepted AnswerJCE editor does not show the tools. I upgraded to J5.4.7 and the current Page Builder pro. Fed up with these issues.

Accepted AnswerYes, if somebody already used old version of JCE as hidden door to your Joomla then inside JCE Profiles you will have 20-30 fake profiles that should be removed asap. JCE update will not fix that !

Accepted AnswerBut an update to 2.9.99.9 will prevent re-occurrence. There is also a free patch for older sites, just as Joomshaper has helpfully supplied.
