Wimble - Custom Code Before Small Problem

Hello, I have a little problem with the custom code in the "Before </head>" section. By typing a simple code like: link href = "/ templates / wimble / css / custom-mobile.css" rel = "stylesheet" type = "text / css "> and saving the settings, it doesn't appear in the <head> section at all. I don't know how to deal with it. I would like CSS for mobiles to be in a separate file. Can you help me or direct me where I am making a mistake?

Hello there,

What's the CSS about? Would you mind sharing a videocast with us so that we can understand the situation better?

Thanks!

Always check if added code works correctly after saving, in some cases, it may not. It can be caused by:

  • Firewall which can damage script <j-avascript> - in that case, please check settings of RSfirewall or Akeeba Tools Pro.
  • Your server security settings (Mod_Security or similar) do not allow using this kind of code.
  • The code line contains the wrong path to the file.
  • You forgot to add a close tag or missing letter.
  • Service from embed code is suspended or has temporary server problems.
  • Used code contains too many redirections which may also damage template code or cause long load delays.

Can you kindly make sure if these steps are okay or not? If the problem still persists, kindly provide your administrative access. Use the hidden mode to share the log in credentials.

I solved the problem. On the main page I use the menu from the Wimble transparent template, and on the other subpages I use the Wimble template. The code had to be placed in the Wimble - Transparent template. Now everything works as it should. Thank you for your time. Maybe this info will be useful for the future.
