Empty Column On Tablet Should Not Display

There is an empty column in a row which is expected to hide on tablet. Please see this screenrecording:

The row in SPPB looks like this: https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cOiu2Knved3

Is this an issue with breakpoints? I've even tried setting the column to hide on tablet but that doesn't do anything.

Hi,

This does not appear to be a breakpoint issue. The row contains two equal-width columns, so hiding the empty column does not necessarily make the content column expand automatically.

Edit the row/columns and:

Hide the empty column on both Tablet Landscape and Tablet Portrait. Set the content column width to 100% on tablet, or enable Fill Columns for the tablet views in the Row settings. SP Page Builder controls column visibility and column width separately. Clear the Joomla, template, and browser cache after saving.

The blank area you are seeing is most likely the first column retaining its original 50% width, rather than the hidden column still being displayed.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. Could you please keep a full site backup and give me your super admin access? So that I can check.

-Regards.

I'm not able to provide admin access at this time.

What questions could I answer instead?

Thank you, Mehtaz.

Those instructions helped and I now have it working as expected. In particular, setting the content column width to 100% on tablet, and enabling Fill Columns for the tablet views in the Row settings.

I didn't know that was necessary. I had presumed that it would automically do that when there was an empty column.
