Just to be aware, I've had attempted attacks on my sites

"Attempted to leverage vulnerability in old version of SP Page Builder (PHP code upload)."

Is this something that has to be addressed with a new update/patch?

That's why updates are published. The same you have for your browser, Windows, and Joomla core itself. Nothing new.

Just update extensions, templates and Joomla regularly, not once a year as some people do.

If you have Joomla 5.x or Joomla 6.x you should have full version of SPPB 6.8+

If you still have Joomla 3, no core security updates anymore.
