Having the same issue after upgrading to 3.7.9.

P/S: It seems like version 3.7.9 is full of bugs. I personally encounter more than 3 bugs now.

  1. Database maintenance page not going away.
  2. Database records not being auto-incremented.
  3. Unable to edit large page using backend editor.
  4. Unable to upload image.

I had a fix for the maintenance datable message. Check here: https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/7

Same as Caspar, many bugs are still remain:

  1. unable to copy a page
  2. unable to create a new page
  3. images are uploading but it's suck (need to browse folders to select one)

We are numerous to face these bugs.

Hello s4ds

Which MySQL version are you using? Use MySQL 5.6+ or MariaDB 10.x.

Best regards

In my case, although I didn't finish 100%, the image was allocated. It can be found by clicking on BROWSE FOLDERS

I found that I was missing a PHP package after upgrading to version 8.0. The module that I was missing was php8.0-gd, and it was throwing a Server 500 message that I could see in my browser's Console view, but it didn't seem to show up in any of the Apache server logs.

Installing that package and restarting Apache fixed the issue.

apt install php8.0-gd

service apache2 restart
