Hi,
I have been a paying JoomShaper Developer user for more than ten years, and today I apparently managed to get myself temporarily banned from demo3.joomshaper.com (and all joomshaper.com).
What was I doing? Scraping your website? Running automated requests? Trying to overload your servers?
No. I was browsing your templates.
I was simply opening and comparing template demos – which I would assume is a fairly normal activity for a paying Developer customer trying to decide which of your products to use.
Instead, Cloudflare greeted me with Error 1015 – “You are being rate limited”, informing me that “the owner of this website has banned you temporarily from accessing this website.”
I have to say, after paying for JoomShaper services for over a decade, being banned for looking at too many of the templates (about 7-10) I’m paying to have access to is a rather impressive customer experience.
If normal browsing of your template demos is enough to trigger your rate limiting, I would strongly suggest reviewing those limits. A Developer user is naturally going to open multiple templates, switch between demos and compare layouts. That is not abuse – that is literally what the demo site is there for.
For reference:
Cloudflare Error: 1015
Ray ID: a339ed2a89dfae05

I would appreciate it if you could check why this happened and make sure legitimate customers are not being blocked simply for using the service as intended.
Best regards,
Andreas
