Hi Rob,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Currently, dynamic background images for sections are not supported directly in SP Page Builder. The section background image needs to be set statically.

A dynamic option would require custom development or a workaround using custom PHP with css depending on where the image URL is coming from.
