I Can't Get PDF Files To Load From The Button URL Link

My intention is for the client to be able to easily add the PDF file when creating the button, without having to go to content/media each time to upload the file and then return to the article. I'm trying to upload a PDF file from the button panel, in link->Url, the media management window opens, I select FOLDERS, go to the folder where I want to insert a PDF, and it gives me an error. It says "Please upload only image files to the folder tab." In system/global configuration/media I have entered pdf in "allowed extensions", in "allowed image extensions" and in "legal document extensions". I also entered pdf,application/ in "allowed MIME types".

Thanks for contacting us. The media popup opened from Button → Link → URL → Media is actually the image selector, so it only allows image files. That is why you see:
"Please upload only image files to the folder tab."
Your Joomla Media settings are correct, but they only control what files Joomla allows to be uploaded. They do not change the file type restriction inside the SP Page Builder button media picker.
A workaround is:

Upload the PDF first from:
Content → Media

Copy the PDF URL, for example:
/images/documents/my-file.pdf -
Paste that URL directly into:
Button → Link → URL
You can also use a dedicated file/download addon if you need editors to select PDF files directly from the backend.
At the moment, the Button addon media browser is intended for images only, so uploading PDFs directly from that popup is not supported.
