Cannot Save Page Options Anymore

Hi,

I'm trying to change my page title in SP PageBuilder page options, but getting an error message that meta description should be less than 160 carachters... Issue is that I don't have access to the meta description anymore (used to have a tab for it, which I guess you removed in latest version).

How do I then remove this meta description ?

Where am I supposed to add meta description for my articles now ?

Thanks

Hello,

I managed to solve the issue in the meantime. For your reference (or for other people having the same issue), this is what I did:

  • I exported the article in SP Pagebuilder without SEO
  • I deleted my article from Joomla articles, and removed it from trash
  • I created a new article in Joomla, edited with SPPB and re-imported.
  • I re-linked my article to my menu item in Joomla.

Just a question: How is SEO handled now it's not part of the page options in SPPB anymore ?

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for sharing the details and the solution you found. We’re glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue.

Regarding the SEO settings, the SEO data for articles integrated with SP Page Builder was removed from the page options in a recent version. It is possible that your article contained legacy SEO data that had already been stored in the database, which may have contributed to the issue you experienced.

We also really appreciate you sharing your workaround. This can be helpful for other users who may encounter the same situation.

Thank you again for your feedback and for helping the community.
