Hello JoomShaper Team,

I would like to contribute a complete Arabic (ar-AA) translation for the Helix Ultimate template framework (ar-AA.tpl_shaper_helixultimate.ini) so it can be officially included in upcoming releases or language packs for the Arabic Joomla community.

For this translation, I followed a structured localization workflow to ensure technical accuracy and ease of use:

Contextual & Dual-Audience Localization: Instead of relying on literal machine translation, every string was translated into Modern Standard Arabic tailored for web interfaces. Common technical terms (such as Padding, Margin, Off-canvas, Sticky Header, and Breakpoints) were kept in parentheses alongside their Arabic equivalents so the control panel remains clear for both everyday users and experienced developers.

100% Structural & Line-by-Line Integrity: The file maintains the exact structure of the original en-GB.tpl_shaper_helixultimate.ini file (all 528 lines), keeping all language keys, comments, empty lines, and repeated keys untouched.

Code & Markup Preservation: All embedded HTML tags, Font Awesome icon classes (<span class='fas...'>), escaped quotes (\"), and HTML entities (&quot;, &lt;, &gt;) were strictly preserved and verified to prevent any syntax or rendering issues.

Live Environment Testing: The language file has been tested on a live Joomla installation with Helix Ultimate to verify RTL alignment and UI readability across all template settings.

I have included a link to download the translated .ini file (ar-AA.tpl_shaper_helixultimate.ini) and the screenshots in the hidden content below.

Hello,

Thank you for this contribution, and for documenting how you did the translation. Keeping the original structure and the HTML/icon markup intact is exactly what we need.

One thing to note so the Arabic translation is complete: the template language file only covers part of the Helix Ultimate interface. Most of the Template Options panel in the backend (the setting groups such as Basic, Header, Body, Footer, Social Icons and Contact Info, plus the layout builder labels) comes from the Helix Ultimate system plugin's language file:

  • administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_system_helixultimate.ini (about 388 keys)

To get a fully Arabic backend, that file needs translating as well, saved as:

  • administrator/language/ar-AA/ar-AA.plg_system_helixultimate.ini

Your current file should go in:

  • language/ar-AA/ar-AA.tpl_shaper_helixultimate.ini

A small technical note: the original file has a few repeated keys (for example HELIX_ULTIMATE_FONT_STYLE, HELIX_ULTIMATE_LOGO_TYPE_TEXT, HELIX_ULTIMATE_DAY/DAYS, HOUR/HOURS and so on). Joomla uses the last value it finds for a repeated key, so please make sure the translation of the last occurrence is the one you want shown.

I have passed your file to our development team so they can review it for a future release or language pack. I can't promise a release date yet, but we will update this thread when we know more. If you can also send the translated plugin file, we can review both together.
