How to Translate Helix Ultimate

Helix Ultimate  like any other template or extension includes .ini file which contain all of the English terms we have used. You have to translate that file: language\en-GB\en-GB.tpl_shaper_helixultimate.ini

Inside it you will find phrases used on front-end and in Template Options.

Edit the file and translate the strings (BIG LETTERS) into your target language. Save them either with the native language prefix or without, then copy them to your language folder. You may use AI to speed up the process, but be sure to review and verify the results afterward.  Joomla uses the last value it finds for a repeated key, so please make sure the translation of the last occurrence is the one you want shown.

File (.ini) must be saved as UTF-8 without BOM encoding. Once the phrases inside file have been translated, copy your language files into your language directory using an FTP client.  For example, here: language/fr-FR/

As alternative,  you can translate selected phrases also using the overrides feature in Joomla: Extensions > Language Manager > Overrides tab.

Example translations made by community members (download, unzip and upload using FTP):

1. Arabic (ar-AA) -  and unzipped file goes to  language/ar-AA/
