Google Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS)

I have found that the following tag is causing a big layout shift on mobile devices (according to GTMetrix)
section id="sp-main-body"
I am using the shapernews365 template. My pages seem to load fairly quickly but I am being penalized a great deal by Google due to this CLS issue.
Is there a way to add some custom CSS to make this tag not cause any CLS issues or will I just have to learn to live with it?

Using custom CSS for mobile view only you can decide about padding used for #sp-main-body

Accepted AnswerThere is nothing wrong with design at all. The issue is that Google is penalizing my pages only on desktop for CLS issue. Mobile pages are fine. This is very strange.
