Thanks, it looks better now. But the background image should be "fixed" and not set to "scroll". That's the issue... As soon as I set it to "fixed" it does not scale anymore automatically. It just should always be full width horizontally and have a corresponding height... Is there any way to get that done?

PS: what have you changed so far to get it working better?

All I want to realize is to have a background image (or video) that is "fixed" and that scales in any way when resizing the browser window or watching it on a different device (Smartphone, Tablet). Nothing magic, just that... If there is another way to get this done: please tell me. But the image (or video) should be "fixed" and not "scroll"...
