Hello, I am building this website: https://magicseacruises.com/ All seemed to be okay. After installing russian language and duplicating the menus, i got the following problem: The background image of "Page Title" is showing wrong. There are 2 spots of every language that I have enabled the title. It is at the section Cruises and Photos. Also, I have another problem: I have enabled language switcher with flags and all work perfectly on computer. If I enter the website by my phone, I cannot click on the flags. If I try to click on a flag, it clicks on the logo and I get redirected to the home page. Could you please help me?

Hello konstantinos kolioradakis

Your logo height was too high and overlapping the language switcher. Thus click was on the logo. I have adjusted it with Custom CSS for tablet and mobile devices. Now logo is okay. Please share a screenshot of page title to understand this issue better.

Best regards

Thanks for your answer. Please, could you tell me which file did you edit and what css command did you use? So as to keep in mind if something like this occurs in the future. Regarding the issue with the page title, it can be found on the following links: https://magicseacruises.com/index.php/ru/cruise https://magicseacruises.com/index.php/ru/photographs

https://magicseacruises.com/index.php/el/elcruises https://magicseacruises.com/index.php/el/elphotos

https://magicseacruises.com/index.php/en/enphotos https://magicseacruises.com/index.php/en/encruises

All these pages have "Page Title" with background image enabled at the joomla menu. (Menus-Main Menu-etc). The background image is not shown correctly. It used to be correct, but something went wrong after installing the russian language.

I have applied this CSS to Template Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS

@media (max-width: 768px){
    .logo-image {
        height: 105px !important;
    }
}
#sp-header{
    top: 51px;
    background-color: #001830;
}

okay, I am checking the Page Title issue.

Please ignore the above CSS. I had to work on your template layouts. Please check your site now and let me know if you need further assistance. You will find all additional CSS in Template Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS.

Thank you for your help. The code you used in the custom css is only for the language switcher issue, or for both the language switcher and the page title? I wish to know exactly what should I do, if something like these occurs in the future.

Also, I noted something else. The bar above the menu was white, and it had some telephone information with gray font. Now, the bar seems to be gray and the information got dissapeared.

Sorry for the double post, but I also noticed that the offcnavas menu with the book now button, are not shown correctly on mobile phones. Instead of them being on the menu bar, they are under the menu (inside the background photo). I do not know how all these matters begun. Before some days, all were working like a charm on the website. Does this have to do with the installation of the russian? Is there any way to get protected of such disruptions in the future? A backup program or some files that should I save on my local pc? I really appreciate your help.

Apology for the delay. First, I am discussing the issue.

  1. In your previous layout, Page Title had only 4 columns in the center. I have set it to 12 columns and thus solved page title issue.
  2. For the language switcher, your logo height was bigger and it was overlapping the language switcher. So, everytime you clicked on the language flag, you actually clicked the logo and thus it took you to the homepage. I have solved by reducing the logo height with CSS.

Unfortunately, I missed the contact things. I have fixed this on your site. If you need further, then please let me know. Yes, taking backups regularly is really helpful. Akeeba Backup is a good tool for taking Joomla backup. You can check this tutorial on Akeeba Backup
