PNG Image Not Loading Into Stored Images

Hello, I am trying to upload a png image into the image gallery, however, the message presents that the image is still uploading at 100% and the uploading circle is just continually spinning.

Im using a Helix framework.

Hello, what is the maximum size image file I can upload? It seems that I can upload a jpeg and a png files if the file size is below 300kb.
