Downloading Images Causes Error Code 500

I try to upload an image in pagebuilder and got the error message "Request failed with status code 500" ! I see the greyed image and the name of the image is name.jpg.jpg The images is in the joomla media manager with the correct name, for example name.jpg, but the spmedia thumbs folder is empty! I tried the same with a gif without success

I run joomla in xampp on my pc, so you have no access to this.

Dear Beckers,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Could you please create a backup of your site using Akeeba and share it with me?

Looking forward to your response.

I run your site on my local pc, and create a test page, and upload image on sp media, works fine. As, our sp media images you will not found them in joomla media manager even joomla image will not be found in sp media.

Could you please record a video of your issues?

Thanks

I did the same without any issues. Please check my previous response screenshot. You can try uploading your site to a live development environment to test it.

Thanks!

Hello Ziaul, I installed WAMP and extracted the backup in this environment and everything works fine. I believe, the problem is in my XAMPP Installation. I think we got the root of this problem and we can close this thread. Thank a lot for your help.

Regards Wolfgang
