Front End Edit Article Not Working Properly

Janis

Helix Framework 4 years ago

Since updating to Joomla4 combined with the latest Helix Ultimate template, I experience two errors when editing articles via frontend.

Problems that occur:

  • Read More: function not working. I see the button, but when I click on it, nothing happens.
  • Select a publication date: I can select a publication date, but when I publish an article on set date, I get an error: '0 Call to a member function format() on bool' < I get this error on multiple sites when I add an article on a specific date.

Help is welcome :-)

Hi there,

Please follow the instructions. Cause, Your FTP access does not work.

Go to the file location

administrator/language/nl-NL/nl-NL.ini

Find out this line of code

DATE_FORMAT_FILTER_DATETIME="d-m-Y H:i:s"

And replace with this code

DATE_FORMAT_FILTER_DATETIME="Y-m-d H:i:s"

-Thanks

Thanks for all the help. I replaced the line, cleared cache & cookies, still getting the same error.

Thanks so much! What was the solution? I get the same issue on other websites. Would be great if I could fix it myself.

I thought it was fixed, but I now see I get the same error in the backend when saving an existing module.

Since it is caused by the language file, I just switched from NL to EN in the backend for the time-being. It fixed the problem for now. Thanks for your help nonetheless!
