Canonical Link Doesnt Work With Pagebuilder Pages?

Hi,
how can i use a canonical link in webpages generated with SP Pagebuilder?
We use the canonical plugin from Daniel Morell and it works fine with Articles and categories but not with pagebuilder pages.
what is the solution to give our startpage a cononical link? is there any workaround?

Accepted Answercanonical link is very important for SEO. so, you say that your high-end product Pagebuilder is not able to handle canonical links after all these years?????

About SEO - cannonical links are more useful for articles than Pages, because it's easier to have two-three different links to this same article than page (SPPB). Every Joomla SEO expert can tell you that.
