Bootstrap - Hide On Mobile Phone

Template 4 years ago

I am attempting to use a module class suffix with the manufacturer template to hide a module on a mobile phone. Each time I try using hidden-xs, but the module is still shown on the phone. The test device is an Apple iPhone 11. Am I missing something? Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!

Hi. Hidden-xs not the right class for this. It works for Bootstrap 2. You have on board Bootstrap 5.

Explore Bootstrap documentation https://getbootstrap.com/docs/5.0/utilities/display/

Hi Ira,

Am I missing something?

To be honest, few things.

I agree with Pavel, you shoud always check first what Bootstrap version is loaded/used by your template. So easy to check it in less than 60sec. Then check BT documenantion tips.

Besides BT classes only hide module (object) but its whole module code is loaded anyway. So If you need a more trusted method on to disable module (in Mobile view as example) not only basic "hide" use Advanced Module Manager from RegularLabs.
